Carmen Zajac, President
Carmen has served as the President of The Zajac Foundation for over 15 years and as President of Zajac Ranch for Children for over 8 years. Part of Carmen’s role as President is to meet with government officials, voluntary health organizations, corporations and service groups to ensure the development of the Zajac Ranch, which provides a unique camping opportunity for children with life threatening and chronic illnesses and disabilities. She lives in North Vancouver with her husband and two sons.
Sheila joined The Zajac Foundation in 2008 as Executive Assistant / Office Manager with over 25 years of office administration experience in the private sector. Sheila is proud to be able to contribute to an organization which provides such a wonderful opportunity for children with medical needs to experience summer camp.
Alex has a background in accounting roles for the not for profit sector in the Lower Mainland, and enjoys the sense of altruism that working in the charitable sector encourages. Hailing originally from Wales, his interests include kayaking, hiking and landscape painting with acrylics, and is very thankful to be living in beautiful British Columbia.
Emer oversees and manages summer camp registrations and year round site rentals for Zajac Ranch for Children.
Morgen is responsible all front desk operations and provides administrative support for the Vancouver Office. She also manages all of Zajac Ranch's social media accounts and assists with event planning.
Sarah is the primary grant writer for Zajac Ranch, and coordinates various marketing and fundraising campaigns.
Emily is originally from Toronto, Ontario. Emily has a background in social work, working both in the medical and education filed. Emily has over 10 years experience working at camps across North America. She has a passion for working with children in all capacities, and is excited to be working full time at camp. Emily loves BC, being outdoors and of course the warm weather! She is looking forward to the summer to meet all the campers and to enjoy a great camp experience together
