On July 22, 2020 over 200 bidders logged on to support the second Fighting COVID Together live auction. This exciting fundraising brought important and diverse organizations under one umbrella for one night, united in one cause – to raise awareness and funding during this unprecedented pandemic.
The auction was upbeat, fun, and fast-paced with a live audio auction online supporting each of the seven charities involved and hosted by Howard Blank (one of our board members!). Guests were able to bid in real-time after viewing the pictures and descriptions of each lot. A special fund-a-need option for straight tax receipting was also offered – $100 to feed one of our horses for a month and $50 to provide a family with afternoon fun at one of our Family retreats.
Zajac Ranch had eight auction lots available, including a signed & framed David Beckham jersey and a dinner for 6 at Joe Fortes. The final total raised was $6050, thank you to everyone who signed on to watch and bid. This was the first event like this we’ve had the pleasure to take part in and we are thrilled with the outcome!
