In 2020, Pacific Blue Cross Health Foundation came on board to help support Zajac Ranch for Children. After an amazing summer providing children with medical conditions or disabilities the opportunity to access recreation activities, Pacific Blue Cross Health Foundation is again stepping up to provide funding for the upcoming 2021 Family Camp sessions.
The Pacific Blue Cross Health Foundation proudly supports not-for-profit organizations in communities big and small—across all four corners of the province—that are striving to improve health and wellbeing for British Columbians.
Pacific Blue Cross allocates an annual endowment to their Health Foundation to support programs that are making a difference in communities where their staff live, work, and play. The Health Foundation Board is comprised of Directors from the Pacific Blue Cross Board and Pacific Blue Cross employees.
Family Camps were designed during the COVID-19 pandemic to give our campers and their families the opportunity to safely enjoy everything camp has to offer while remaining physically distanced from anyone outside their household. Our separate activity areas and sleeping lodges make it possible for us to run family camps for multiple families at a time without two families ever having to be in close proximity.
Zajac Ranch for Children’s vision is to provide camp experiences that children of all abilities can participate in, while helping foster the development of life-long skills and independence, and create lasting opportunities for friendship and fulfillment. Thank you to the Pacific Blue Cross Health Foundation for helping us raise the spirits of children with disabilities and medical conditions!
