I hope everyone had a safe and happy holiday season as 2020 came to a close. Our office has been buzzing as staff work together to find new ways to support past and future Zajac Ranch campers through the pandemic and beyond. The new medical staff dormitory is almost complete, the search for additional horses to add to our herd continues, and plans are in motion for a barn expansion.
A new year is upon us and with it comes the anticipation of summer camp. With the arrival of vaccines this year, we are cautiously optimistic about running our Summer Medical Camps for 2021. We have planned to offer both Family Camps, similar to last summer, as well as our traditional medical camp sessions. The Family Camps will operate until the end of July, after which we plan to open our regular Summer Medical Camps for the month of August with the hopes that restrictions will be lifted. If the majority of restrictions are still in place by April 15th, we will instead offer additional Family Camp sessions in August.
