Support Bikos for Change

Zajac Ranch for Children has been chosen to benefit from the Bikos for Change Campaign (#BikosForChange) which runs from September 16 to October 16, 2016. A $25,000 donation from Pacific Blue Cross will be shared amongst 7 Charities. The amount received by each charity depends on how many Biko points we have donated. Earn Biko points by riding your bike, walking, or running! More Bikos means more children we can send to camp!

What is Biko?
Biko is an App that you can download from any Apple or Android phone.  For each Kilometer you bike, you earn a BIKO that later can be traded for various rewards from partner brands. BIKOS can then be exchanged for goods and services from participating businesses or donated as cash to the user’s charity of choice.

Other features on the app include mapping routes, measuring average speed, calculating carbon emissions saved, and recommending safe bike paths and local bike shops.

How does it raise money for Zajac Ranch for Children?

A $25,000 donation from Pacific Blue Cross will be shared amongst the 6 charities. The amount received by each charity depends on how many BIKOS we have donated. More BIKOS means more children we can send to camp!

I want to get involved, what should I do now?

It’s easy! Just follow these steps:

  1. Download the Biko App:

  2. Click on “Start Activity” and go for a bike ride!
  3. For each Kilometer you bike, you earn a BIKO.
  4. Once you’ve earned 10 BIKOS you can click on the rewards icon and choose “Zajac Ranch for Children”. Earn as many BIKOS as you can and keep donating!
  5. Donate your BIKOS from September 16 until midnight on October 16.
  6. Invite your friends to earn BIKOS and donate!

Don’t have a bike? The App is focused on cycling, but also works when people jog, walk or skateboard!
