Telus is a long-time supporter of Zajac Ranch – from event corporate sponsorships, to matching gifts through TEAM Telus Cares, to in-kind donations or volunteer days at the ranch; they have helped us see our dream to help children and youth experience the magic of summer camp become a reality.
This year, Telus has donated $7,500 towards our Downtown Eastside Schools Program, which will directly benefit more than 70 at-risk youth from the area, where the child poverty rate is more than 73%. Through this program, youth will be able to participate in resume-building activities, self empowerment, and experience greater personal development and self-confidence.
Zajac Ranch for Children’s vision is to provide camp experiences that children of all abilities can participate in. As well as helping foster the development of life-long skills and independence, and create lasting opportunities for friendship and fulfillment.
