52nd-Golf-logo-plus-back-286x300The 52nd Annual Zajac Golf Classic was held Wednesday, June 15, 2016, at the Richmond Country Club. British Columbia’s longest running charity golf tournament was a great success!

Mel Zajac has a long history of giving back to his community through various charities and community programs, earning him several prestigious awards, including The Order of Canada and, most recently, The Order of BC. The Zajac Golf Classic started in 1964 with a few staff initially raising around $1,500. Since its inception, the Zajac Golf Classic has raised funds in support of many community projects. More than 50 years later, the tournament has raised in excess of $2 million for local charities, including Mel Zajac’s biggest project to-date, the Zajac Ranch for Children, enabling thousands of children with medical needs to experience the joys of summer camp since 2004.
