Zajac Ranch for Children to Host “Holly Day” Family Event

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Vancouver, BC, November 19, 2020 – Zajac Ranch for Children is pleased to announce a new family friendly and physically distant holiday event. The “Holly Day” at Zajac Ranch is a daytime winter celebration featuring petting zoo visits, cookie decorating, climbing through the trees on our Sky Net, door prizes, archery, carolling and more. Zajac Ranch for Children’s “Holly Day” will take place on December 12, 2020 starting at 9:30am. Registration is $199 for a family of 4, and $30 for each additional guest.

This summer saw a change in operations for many businesses and non-profits amongst the COVID-19 pandemic. With summer medical camps cancelled, Zajac Ranch staff quickly came up with their successful daytime and overnight Family Retreats that ran July to September. The Family Retreats gave a number of campers that had registered for regular medical camp sessions the opportunity to enjoy everything camp has to offer while keeping their social circle within Government recommendations. Now they’re gearing up for one more cohort style event to celebrate the winter season.

At the end of a challenging year for all, Zajac Ranch is looking to spread a little joy in the community. Zajac Ranch staff recently took notice that many Holiday events were being cancelled due to ongoing pandemic restrictions, and decided to adapt their Family Retreat cohort model to fit a one day “Holly Day” spectacular. Guests will take part in up to eight different activities over four to five hours, with lunch and snacks from the talented cooking staff included in the registration price. There will even be a wagon ride and gift exchange. Physical distancing measures will be in place making spots limited, so register soon!

“After unfortunately having to cancel regular summer camp due to pandemic restrictions, it’s been wonderful to invite campers and their closest family to visit the Ranch for weekend retreats.
