Become a Member
Joining the Zajac Ranch Society or The Mel Jr. & Marty Zajac Foundation means becoming part of a community that actively champions inclusive, life-changing camp experiences for children and families living with medical needs.
As a member, you help shape the future of our work. You’ll have the opportunity to share your voice, represent the mission of Zajac Ranch, and participate in our Annual General Meetings (AGM) —either in person or by proxy. Members vote on key matters brought forward by our Board of Directors, including the election of Directors for the coming year.
Your annual membership fee of $30 (January 1 – December 31) directly supports Zajac Ranch and The Zajac Foundation’s programs, while keeping you connected to the impact your support makes through regular updates and news.

Longboard
Longboard has supported the Down Syndrome, Epilepsy, and Muscular Dystrophy Camp as well as Family Retreats in 2020. “Mayne is excited to begin a partnership with Zajac,” says Mike Heppell, president, CEO and founder of Mayne Inc. “As a company, one of our core corporate values is working to make a difference in our local community. Zajac Ranch’s work with kids to better their everyday life aligns perfectly with this mission and is a cause our team is passionate about.”
Mr. Lube Foundation
Mr. Lube Foundation has been supporting us for the last eight years. Franchisees across the company raise funds for the Foundation which is then directed towards causes that impact their local communities. Campers from across Canada benefit from the generosity of Mr. Lube and this year their staff will be volunteering on site during our Mixed Medical Camp #2 to see first-hand how the money they have raised is making a difference.

White Spot Restaurants
Since 2008, White Spot’s Pirate Pak Day has raised more than $500,000 to help send children from across Canada to Zajac Ranch. Each year the donations continue to grow as more and more adults head to White Spot for their chance to get a Pirate Pak meal. White Spot donates $2 from every Pirate Pak sold (children and adults). Pirate Pak Day is held in August each year and we hope to see you there – make sure you get there early!

Throughout the year we have many sponsorship opportunities available including large scale fundraising events that see guests from all over BC. There are also opportunities to directly sponsor a variety of our programs of the Ranch. Event sponsorship opportunities include Zajac Nights and the annual Zajac Golf Classic. Each year we receive great support from employees who, after fundraising for us year round, shake off their ties, switch into their runners and head to the Ranch to give back for a day. Volunteer activities can range from construction of new shelters to painting picnic tables. It’s a fantastic way to get your employees out of the office and show how their donations and fundraising efforts are making a difference.

Match Giving
Many employees sponsor matching gift programs by matching any charitable contributions made by their employees to charity organizations. To find out if your company has a match gift program, speak to your HR department.
